Essmem is designed for installation of membrane shield for tunnel lining.
It provides a safe working place with high maneuverability. Equipment is build on a hydraulically driven carrier and is equipped with a sliding table, work platform and telescopic booms. The carrier has as well crawler unit for sideway movements.
Essmem’s is fully radio remote controlled. It fulfills all European safety regulations and norms. It features large working coverage thanks to long telescopic extensions of booms, sliding table and crawler unit under the carrier. The work platform is between 2 telescopic booms which can be turned 180 degrees from side to side. By turning and extending the booms the tunnel profile can be well followed for mounting the membrane shield.
Essmem is run by a diesel driven hydraulic power pack and is self-propelled at work site.
