As of today, Mr Pekka Vauramo, the President of Kalmar Industries and the member of Cargotec Executive Board has been elected as a member of the Normet’s Board of Directors. Kalmar Industries is a global provider of container and heavy duty materials handling equipment. It has sales well over EUR 1 billion and is a business area of Cargotec Corporation. Before joining Kalmar last year, Pekka made a long and impressive career at Sandvik, where he served the last 2 years as the President of the Underground Hard Rock Mining division of Sandvik Mining and Construction (SMC) and a member of SMC management team.

Pekka has graduated from Helsinki University of Technology with M.Sc.and with a major in Mining.
