Ian Northcroft, who joined Normet in February 2011, becomes Sub-Regional Manager UK, Middle East & Africa as of September 1, 2011.
Ian, South African, B Sc Honors in Civil engineering degree from the University of Cape Town, brings experience of over 30 years in the fields of civil engineering, mining equipment manufacturing , aftermarket operations as well as extensive knowledge of underground construction chemicals.
In his last position, before joining Normet, he was Manager Mining – Europe, Russia and Africa for BASF Construction Chemicals UK Plc.
Working for Normet International Ltd, Ian will travel extensively to support the further growth and development of Normet’s business in Africa as well as supporting the Tam International UK team

Ms. Yiming Yang joins Normet
We are pleased to announce that Ms. Yiming Yang is joining Normet by September 1, 2011, in Switzerland, as CRM Development Manager.
Yiming, Finnish citizen, has finalized her Master Thesis in Helsinki University of Economics and will graduate later this autumn as Master of Science in Economics. From mid 2008 she has been working part-time for Normet’s marketing team in Switzerland during summer breaks and studies. During her studies she has worked also as a Liaison Officer for Chinese and Maltese delegations during the Finland’s EU presidency in and for Japan’s delegation during the OSCE meeting in Helsinki.
Yiming will be responsible for the development of Normet’s Customer Relationship Management systems and will also have additional tasks in marketing.
Yiming reports to Andreas Enzler, Vice President Region EMEAI, and is based in Normet International Ltd, Switzerland.
