We are pleased to announce that Mr. Heikki Ojala will be joining Normet Oy by November 1, in Iisalmi Finland, as HSQE Director.
Heikki, 53, Master of Economic Sciences in Management from University of Jyväskylä, Finland, has wide experience in manufacturing, quality management, product development and emergency services.
During his career Heikki has been working 15 years in Ponsse Oyj as a quality manager, product development manager, head of the factory and as director for development of global business processes. He has also been the Managing Director of Oy Logset Ab, a manufacturer of forest machines and as an industrial expert for company Mergertum Oy. Before joining Normet he has been working as the Head Instructor in the Emergency Service College in Kuopio, Finland
Heikki will be based in Normet Oy in Iisalmi, Finland and will report to President of Normet Group Tom Melbye.
